I picked this book when I was exchanging flights in Amsterdam. I don’t know why I picked it up but regardless of its hilarious title, this is a one deep book that manages to keep a sense of humor while giving you valuable information of France and the French folks. Pick it up when you have a spare time to read or just want to learn about France without getting bored. You might want to know that reading books and novels are my favorite activity in winter because I get trapped inside my apartment a lot…thanks to the nonstop snow we have here.

What is it about?

The French smoke, drink and eat more fat than anyone in the world, yet they live longer and have fewer heart problems than Americans. They take seven weeks of paid vacation per year, yet have the world’s highest productivity index. From a distance, modern France looks like a riddle. But up close, it all makes sense. Sixty Million Frenchmen Can’t Be Wrong shows how the pieces of the puzzle fit together.
